Will Heiney is a third-generation firefighter with 20 years in the fire service. Will has an extensive fire service background and is currently a career firefighter with the Hamden Fire Department, assigned to Squad Co 1. Will got his start in the Old Saybrook Fire Department where he currently serves as Deputy Fire Chief. Will is a former live-in member of the Berwyn Heights Vol Fire Department Co 14, in Prince Georges County Maryland. Will is certified to Instructor III and is an instructor with Flash Fire Industries. Will is also a Lead Instructor with the Middlesex County Fire School. He has also instructed at several local & national conferences.
