Dan Greenhaus, MS, NREMT, EMS(I), has worked as both a firefighter and EMS professional in urban, suburban, and rural areas throughout his 25-year public safety career.  He worked for several years in the New Brunswick and Newark (NJ) EMS systems before relocating to North Carolina.

In recent years, Dan went back to school, earning a Masters Degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from Western Governors University, in addition to his Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University.

After 25 years in emergency services, Dan decided to let the next generation take over and moved into Technical and Confined Space Rescue. He also pursued a career in the private sector, accepting a full-time role as a Senior Risk and Information Security Analyst for a global Fortune 50 company.  He still teaches at his local college and serves as a Technical Rescue Specialist in North Carolina
