Dan Greenhaus has served as both a firefighter and EMS professional in urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout his 25-year public safety career. He spent several years working in the New Brunswick and Newark, New Jersey, EMS systems before relocating to North Carolina.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dan earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, complementing his Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University.
After 25 years in emergency services, Dan transitioned his focus to Technical and Confined Space Rescue while pursuing a career in the private sector as a Senior Risk and Information Security Analyst for a global Fortune 50 company. Despite the career change, he remains active in the fire and EMS community, teaching at his local college and serving as a Technical Rescue Specialist in North Carolina.
