Nicole Maloid, BSN RN, completed her nursing degree in 2004 from Quinnipiac University and is currently the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Educator at Waterbury Hospital as well as an adult ICU nurse and Paramedic in CT. She also spent 3 years working as a Flight Nurse for Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital which lead to the adoption of her daughter who had severe medical complications since birth. She is certified in Neonatal and Pediatric Transport as well as a Certified Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (high risk) Nurse along with her NRP Instructor most recently. Her passion within pediatrics and understanding the collaboration between pre-hospital and inpatient during her various roles has enabled her to provide critical insight into the evolving world of medicine in multiple facilities.
