Jamie Barry, MSW, serves as the Survivor Assistance Coordinator at the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), a role she assumed in 2023. Specializing in Individual Assistance and Voluntary Agency Coordination, Jamie has contributed to the response and recovery efforts for several major disasters, including the 2023 Maui wildfires and the 2025 Texas flooding. Prior to joining MEMA, Jamie spent 12 years with the American Red Cross, where she focused on disaster recovery. She remains an active volunteer with the organization. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, both from Bridgewater State University.
