Bryan served as the President of the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) for five years 2019 – 2023 and was the director of the National EMS Education Standards revision completed in 2021. His career in health care began with the US Army as a Combat Medical Specialist in 1987, Upon his return to civilian life, he built upon this experience, becoming a Registered Nurse and a Paramedic. Since 1995, Bryan has taught a variety of technical and educational topics to high school students, EMT’s, paramedics, nurses and medical students and educators in several disciplines.
Bryan has 30 years experience teaching EMS and is currently the Director of EMS education programs for Tarrant County College in Fort Worth Texas. As a paramedic and registered nurse, Bryan has over 36 years experience and has a developed a reputation for being innovative and entertaining as a national and international speaker. He enjoys teaching to all levels of EMS and nursing professionals and is passionate about the advancement of EMS practice through the use of innovative and effective educational practices.
