With a distinguished career spanning 24 years in the fire service, I have dedicated two decades to full-time firefighting, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence and leadership. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration, equipping me with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern firefighting and emergency response. For 15 years, I served on an engine company in central Ohio, where I held various roles including firefighter, pump operator, and company officer. Each position allowed me to hone my abilities in high-pressure situations, develop critical operational skills, and foster teamwork among my peers. My extensive experience on the engine company not only solidified my technical proficiency but also deepened my  understanding of the importance of leadership and mentorship within the fire service. Throughout my career, I have actively participated in Ohio Task Force 1, and various other county teams. I have a successful victim rescue, been a part of a live mayday and have been the recipient of multiple valor awards, as we as firefighter and officer of the year. I developed Tailboard Training to share valuable tactics.
