Robert Policht is a member of the Passaic (NJ) Fire Department assigned to Ladder Company 2 and the Fire Investigation Unit. He started his career as a volunteer where he served as the Chief of Department for the Allendale (NJ) Fire Department. He also teaches at the Bergen County (NJ) Fire Academy. Policht has a master’s degree in emergency management and homeland security from Arizona State University. He is a founder and contributor of Flow and Vent, a site dedicated to fire and rescue training.
