Trooper Nadi Graham has served with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for 23+ years. He joined the Special Response Team (SRT) in 2007 as a part-time member. In 2010 he was selected as a full-time team member. The OSHP’s SRT Team is the equivalency of a Police Department’s SWAT team. SRT Teams in the State of Ohio spearhead the disruption of dangerous incidents with regards to scheduled warrant interdictions, barricaded suspects, and hostage situations. Trooper Graham has progressed through his EMS tenure as an EMT Basic and EMT Advanced through the National Registry. Graham functions as an operator and an EMT Advanced for the SRT team. Trooper Graham has instructed at various conferences such as the Ohio Tactical Officer’s Association conference (OTOA) and the Fire Department Instructor’s Conference (FDIC). He functions as a part-time instructor for TRI-MED Tactical and for Louisiana State University’s National Center for Biomedical Research and Training funded by DHS and FEMA. LSU hires instructors from around the country to instruct Active Threat Integrated Response Courses which address active shooter events. This training is provided to fire, EMS and police departments.
