Michael Napolitano is an experienced emergency medical services professional with more than a decade of service in prehospital care and emergency response. He began his career in 2014 as a volunteer firefighter and progressed through multiple leadership roles, including EMS Officer, Lieutenant, Safety Officer, Captain, and Assistant Chief.
Michael currently serves as a full-time Paramedic Supervisor with Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corps, where he assists with the oversight of operations while supporting clinical excellence, mentorship, and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, he has also served as a Field Training Officer and Senior Paramedic, focusing on professional development, team growth, and high-quality patient care.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Healthcare Leadership, providing a strong foundation in organizational management, team development, and patient-centered care. Michael’s career reflects a commitment to leadership, innovation, continuous improvement, and advancing the delivery of emergency medical services.
This presentation provides attendees with a practical overview of the policies, procedures, and logistical considerations involved in implementing a body-worn camera program within an EMS agency. Participants will gain insight into program development, operational integration, and key factors to consider for successful implementation.
Participants will explore the purpose and potential benefits of body-worn cameras in the EMS environment, including their role in improving transparency, accountability, training, and quality improvement.
