Mark is a 35 year veteran of the fire service currently serving the City of New London Fire Department. He also serves as the program planner for the fire officer courses offered through the Connecticut Fire Academy. He has served for 12 years as a Lieutenant , 6 years as a Battalion Chief and is currently serving as the Deputy Fire Chief. He developed this course specifically to address the lack of preparatory courses for new company officers when taking on a new role with hopes of better preparing them the duties and responsibilities.
