Kevin Manzolillo is a senior public safety leader with more than 19 years of experience in law enforcement, emergency management, and complex incident response. He serves as a Captain and Commanding Officer of the Connecticut State Police Emergency Services Unit (ESU), leading statewide special operations, including aviation, bomb squad, K9, crisis negotiation, dive/marine, UAS, tactical operations as SWAT Commander, and other specialized response teams. He directs high-risk incidents and collaborates with local, state, and federal partners to protect communities across Connecticut.
Kevin has commanded Troop G (Bridgeport), overseen statewide traffic safety and commercial motor vehicle enforcement, and managed major grant programs supporting training and operational readiness. He has also contributed to statewide initiatives, including the Active Killer Response Program and Connecticut's Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response and Consequence Management Planning Committee.
A former Connecticut State Police Academy instructor and longtime Connecticut Urban Search & Rescue Task Force 1 leader, Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven and is completing a Master of Public Administration at Marist University.
