Daniel W. Youngstrom, PhD NRP is Principal Investigator of Emergency Medical Services Research with the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network. Dr. Youngstrom earned his BS in Biophysics at the University of Michigan and PhD in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences at Virginia Tech. Prior to joining Hartford HealthCare, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship and a faculty appointment in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Youngstrom is interested in elevating prehospital care through research. He practices as a Paramedic with Hunter’s Ambulance Service.
