The Connecticut Poison Control Center (CPCC) provides emergency poison information to members of the public whose loved ones are exposed to toxic substances, as well as healthcare professionals caring for those patients. Available to all Connecticut residents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, CPCC provides emergency services at no cost. The Center also offers educational materials and programs to help prevent future toxic exposures and conducts research to improve the detection and treatment of individuals affected by poisonings and toxic exposures.
