Wendy Dunaway, Paramedic, Ph.D. (c), has been an EMS provider since 2005 beginning as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and progressed to a full-time Critical Care Paramedic. Wendy holds a Master of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies Master and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland Baltimore County where she specializes in Emergency Health Services. Her dissertation work, Exploring EMS Workforce Retention Issues, is scheduled to be completed Spring of 2024. Wendy currently practices as a Critical Care Paramedic for a private agency in Wisconsin.
