Scott joined the Massachusetts Department of Fire Service in May of 2023 as their statewide Director of the Active Shooter and Hostile Event Program. In this role, Scott works collaboratively with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, the ALERRT Center at Texas State university and other key stakeholders on the Commonwealth’s ASHER strategy. Scott most recently served as the Director of the Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services and previously as a flight paramedic, a Mobile Integrated Health Program Director and a Senior Paramedic with the New York City Fire Department.
