Leah Tilden is the Assessment Development Manager at Fisdap, with over 20 years of EMS experience and over 10 years in EMS education. In her current role at Fisdap, Leah is responsible for the timely development and delivery of consistent, valid and reliable, high-quality EMS exams. A doctoral candidate at Baylor University in Waco TX, Leah’s research interests include the use of flipped classrooms in EMS education and the preservice training of EMS educators. Leah has been a co-author on several key research studies and a speaker and poster presenter at the National Association of EMS Educators, EMS World Expo, and several other places. She is a NC Level II EMS Instructor, Rescue 3 International Swift Water Rescue Instructor, and an AHA BLS Instructor. In her free time, Leah is the mom of her 9-year-old son, who keeps her busy with soccer and boy scouts; she’s an avid member of Burn Boot Camp; and a self-proclaimed relucent runner.
