David Sirl
Dave Sirl served in the United States Army from 1983-1987 and was an infantry team leader upon his honorable discharge. He got started in EMS in 1989 and retired from his full-time position on the fire department in 2016 and continued in part-time service until 2021. While on the fire department Dave served in several roles; fire instructor/training officer, AHA instructor, NAEMT instructor, fire investigator and was attached to the Southwest Enforcement Bureau/SWAT as a tactical medic for nearly 20 years. Dave currently works for a hospital system in Cleveland Ohio and provides training and education to a variety of agencies including local fire and law enforcement departments, the FBI SWAT Team and Joint Terrorism Task Force groups, the United States Marshal Service Task Force groups, and numerous local tactical teams. Dave is married with six children and three grandchildren.
