As a career firefighter, I have moved through the ranks to my current role as Deputy Fire Chief and EMS Director of a growing urban multi-service Department. Early in my career, I dedicated myself to not just improving my skillset, but improving the service to our community by focusing on mentoring and education. Every day I lead by example how to best apply the fundamentals of firefighting and prehospital care in the classroom and in the field. With my team, I am proudly moving our region forward as early adopters of mental health interventions, critical care interfacility transports, and developing and adopting a public model of fire-based ALS responses.
