A proud US Army and Air Force veteran with multiple overseas deployments, Charles “Tim” Mitzel has worked from Army basic training to his current position as the Director of Safety and Emergency Management for a Hudson Valley, New York trauma center. Through taking every opportunity to gain classroom and life experiences, from serving as a First Sergeant in combat zones and experience as a flight paramedic to instructing multiple generations of military and civilian EMS providers, Tim has dedicated his life and career to becoming a leader in the provision of excellent prehospital care. Tim proudly also nurtures the next generation through his decades as a Boy Scouts of America mentor.
