Anna Ryan is a paramedic who has been participating in EMS for 15 years. Starting her career as a volunteer, she grew up in the field and has held positions throughout the spectrum of emergency services as an EMT, dispatcher, paramedic, EMS educator and Course Coordinator. She is a contributor and editor for The Overrun and has contributed to international publications on a variety of topics vital to the developing culture in EMS. She has presented nationally on topics including EMS mental health and stress management and evidence based classroom management techniques. She is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Mental Health evaluation. Anna lives happily in NJ with her husband and dog.
