I have been lucky to have been involved in EMS from the ground to the air, starting in 1987 as an EMT, and proud to have served as Medical Director for some of the finest national and local EMS, Fire and Public Safety Departments across the country in the past three decades. I consider myself a very well-educated EMT, and emphasize in each of my training sessions that basic care, performed competently and passionately, saves lives. Period.
Through mentoring, didactic lectures, and bedside teaching, I have spent my life learning and teaching from amazing professionals who go above and beyond to improve patient care and outcomes. My passion is in “Doing It Right”, and particularly focusing on bridging critical care – emergency medicine and emergency services.
