When time matters most, Life Flight gets you there fast. Life Flight quickly transports critically ill or injured patients from the scene of an accident or other hospitals to highly specialized care. We are New England's first air medical program, founded in 1982. Currently, we operate from two bases: Life Flight 1 is based at the Duddie Massad Emergency and Trauma Center at the UMass Memorial- University Campus in Worcester. Life Flight 2 is based at Fitchburg Municipal Airport in Fitchburg, MA. From both bases, we provide air and ground critical care transport.
